The precise scope of each project will be agreed upon with the client before work begins.
2. Eligibility and Client Responsibilities
By using our services, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and all materials reasonably required for your project.
- Ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any text, images, data, figures, tables, or other materials you provide.
- Review drafts, proofs, and final deliverables within the agreed timeframe.
- Provide clear feedback and communicate any changes to the project scope.
- Make payments according to the agreed quotation or payment schedule.
- Use our services lawfully and refrain from requesting work that infringes intellectual property rights, involves fraud, or violates applicable laws or publication ethics.
Delays in receiving materials, approvals, or feedback may affect project delivery dates.
3. Service Scope and Project Agreements
Each project may differ in length, complexity, research requirements, formatting specifications, publication platform, and delivery timeline.
Before starting work, we may provide a quotation, proposal, written scope, or other project agreement outlining the services included, fees, milestones, revisions, and estimated delivery dates.
Only the services expressly included in the agreed scope are covered by the quoted price. Additional chapters, substantial rewrites, new research, extra revisions, expedited delivery, or other requests outside the original scope may incur additional charges.
We will communicate material changes in scope and associated fees before proceeding with the additional work.
4. Pricing and Payments
All service fees will be communicated to the client before the relevant work begins. Unless otherwise stated in writing, third-party charges, journal fees, publication fees, platform fees, taxes, and other external costs are not included in our service fees.
Depending on the project, payment may be required in full or in installments.
Work may be scheduled or commenced after the agreed initial payment has been received. Where installment payments apply, we may pause work or withhold final deliverables if a payment becomes overdue, subject to the agreed project terms and applicable law.
Clients are responsible for reviewing quotations and confirming the services, deliverables, and fees before making payment.
5. Revisions and Approvals
The number and type of revisions included in a project will be specified in the quotation or project agreement.
Included revisions cover reasonable adjustments to the agreed work. They do not automatically include a complete change of direction, replacement of approved content, extensive rewriting, or additional services not included in the original scope.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving final manuscripts, formatting, metadata, cover files, and submission materials before publication or submission, as applicable.
Once a client approves a deliverable or authorizes publication or submission, subsequent changes may require additional fees.
6. eBook Publishing and Distribution
WebElite Solutions provides publishing preparation and related assistance. Actual publication, distribution, account approval, sales performance, and continued availability are controlled by the relevant publishing platforms and distributors.
We do not own or control Amazon KDP, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, IngramSpark, or other third-party platforms.
We cannot guarantee that a platform will approve a book, maintain its listing, distribute it in every market, or generate any particular number of sales, downloads, reviews, or royalties.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their books comply with the applicable platform’s current content, copyright, metadata, tax, and account requirements.
Where a publishing account must be owned or controlled by the author, the author should retain control of their account, payment information, tax information, and credentials. Clients should not share passwords or other sensitive account information unnecessarily.
7. Research Journal Publication Support
WebElite Solutions may assist researchers with manuscript editing, formatting, language improvement, journal selection, submission preparation, and related publication support.
Our services are intended to help clients prepare their work for submission and improve its presentation. We do not guarantee acceptance, peer-review outcomes, indexing, publication dates, citation counts, or publication in any specific journal.
Scopus and Web of Science are independent indexing services. Journal coverage, eligibility, and indexing status may change over time. A journal’s inclusion in an index does not guarantee acceptance of an individual manuscript or continued indexing.
Journal editors, reviewers, publishers, and indexing organizations make their own decisions. We have no authority to influence or override those decisions.
Journal submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), open-access fees, page charges, and other publisher costs are separate from our service fees unless explicitly included in a written agreement.
We do not sell guaranteed acceptance, fabricate publication credentials, or represent that we can manipulate peer-review or indexing decisions.
8. Research Integrity and Academic Ethics
Clients must ensure that submitted research is genuine, properly attributed, and compliant with the relevant journal’s policies and applicable research standards.
We do not knowingly assist with fabricated data, falsified results, manipulated peer reviews, purchased authorship, plagiarism, or misleading publication claims.
Any assistance with research manuscripts must respect the author’s actual contribution, the applicable authorship criteria, disclosure requirements, and the target journal’s policies.
Clients remain responsible for the accuracy of their findings, citations, references, data, ethical approvals, declarations, and final submitted manuscript.
Where editing, language improvement, or formatting is requested, our work does not replace the author’s responsibility for the scientific validity or originality of the research.
9. Intellectual Property and Ownership
Clients retain ownership of the original manuscripts, research materials, and other intellectual property they lawfully own or are authorized to provide.
Subject to full payment and any separate written agreement, clients may use the final custom-written deliverables produced specifically for their project as agreed in the project scope.
WebElite Solutions does not claim ownership of a client’s original manuscript merely because it has been edited, formatted, or prepared for publication.
Pre-existing materials, third-party assets, licensed fonts, stock images, software, templates, and platform-specific materials remain subject to their respective ownership and license terms.
Clients are responsible for obtaining permissions for materials they supply and for ensuring that their intended use does not infringe third-party rights.
We may not display, publish, or use a client’s unpublished manuscript, research, book cover, or project materials in our portfolio or marketing without appropriate permission.
10. Confidentiality
We respect the confidentiality of client manuscripts, unpublished research, personal information, and project communications.
We will use client materials only as reasonably necessary to provide the agreed services, administer the project, meet applicable legal obligations, or perform other purposes authorized by the client.
We will not knowingly disclose confidential client materials to unrelated third parties, except where disclosure is authorized, reasonably necessary for service delivery, required by law, or otherwise permitted under our Privacy Policy.
Clients should avoid sending passwords, payment card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary email or messaging channels.
11. Delivery Times and Delays
Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith and depend on the project scope, complexity, receipt of materials, payment, and timely client feedback.
We will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed deadlines. However, delays may occur because of unforeseen circumstances, client requests, technical issues, third-party platform decisions, or events outside our reasonable control.
Any revised timeline will be communicated to the client where reasonably practicable.
External publication and review timelines are determined by the relevant publisher, journal, editor, reviewer, or platform and are not controlled by WebElite Solutions.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the agreed project terms, the stage of work, the services already performed, and applicable law.
Because writing, editing, formatting, and research publication support may involve customized work, payments for completed services and work already performed may not be refundable, except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
If a client cancels a project before work begins, any refund will be assessed in accordance with the applicable quotation, project agreement, and law.
If a project is canceled after work has begun, we may account for the work completed, resources committed, and any non-refundable third-party charges when determining the amount due or refundable.
Third-party publication, submission, platform, or journal fees are subject to the relevant provider’s refund policies. We cannot promise a refund from a third party.
Please contact us promptly if you have a concern about a payment or project.
13. Third-Party Services and Websites
Our website or services may refer to third-party publishing platforms, journals, indexing services, payment providers, software, or other external websites.
These third parties operate independently and have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, and eligibility requirements.
WebElite Solutions is not responsible for third-party decisions, policies, service interruptions, account restrictions, or changes to their services. This does not exclude any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Website Use and Availability
We aim to keep our website accurate and accessible. However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, or use our content for unlawful purposes.
We may update website content, service descriptions, or these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, WebElite Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or services, including lost profits, lost sales, lost royalties, rejected manuscripts, or changes in journal indexing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable rights relating to fraud, intentional misconduct, or other non-excludable liability.
Our services are provided within the scope agreed with the client. We do not guarantee particular commercial, academic, publication, indexing, or sales outcomes.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, clients are responsible for claims arising from materials they supply, rights they do not possess, unlawful instructions, or their misuse of deliverables in violation of third-party rights or applicable law.
This section does not impose liability where the claim results from our own unlawful conduct or where such allocation is prohibited by applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes will apply prospectively to the extent required by law. Existing project agreements will continue to govern where applicable, unless the parties agree otherwise or the law requires a different result.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are subject to applicable laws. Any governing-law or jurisdiction provision for a particular project should be specified in the relevant written agreement and applied consistently with mandatory consumer protection and other applicable laws.
We encourage clients to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve any concerns in good faith.
